Alan Friedman
Chairman FBC Group
Alan Friedman, author, global economics columnist, and television and radio broadcaster, founded FBC in 1998. Together with Italian state broadcaster RAI and The International Herald Tribune, he started IHT-TV - a portfolio of business programmes - which is now distributed worldwide to 100 countries. Alan continued to create original news and entertainment formats for RAI, La 7, MTV Italia and most recently Sky Italia the News Corp owned Italian pay television platform. During his career he has been an award-winning journalist at the Financial Times and a regular contributor to Vanity Fair and other magazines. He has written four best-selling books and received numerous awards including the Italian Congressional Medal of Honour and four British Press Awards. Apart from managing FBC, Alan is also currently the global economics columnist for The Wall Street Journal Europe, commentator on CNBC Europe and a leading presenter on Italian television.

John Defterios
Group Vice President for Content and Media Services
Award-winning correspondent and anchor with 20 years of experience in global financial news, John Defterios joined FBC after eight years with CNN Financial News, as principal anchor in New York and as anchor-editor of CNN International's World Business Today in London. He was also anchor of CNN's top-rated morning business programme Ahead of the Curve and of Business Unusual, as well as correspondent for Moneyline with Lou Dobbs. Prior to his work with CNN, John was European Correspondent for the Nightly Business Report, and managed the joint venture between PBS-TV and Reuters. John oversees the company's factual programming, as Executive Producer and Host of a number productions including FBC's weekly global business magazine "World Business".

Eckart Sager
Executive Producer
German-born, American educated, Eckart Sager joined FBC from CNN where he served as London-based Senior Producer of Business Unusual, the top-rated feature business profile show. Prior to his European posting, Mr. Sager produced numerous programmes for CNN in New York, including Pinnacle, spending three years travelling the world profiling leading CEO's. He also worked as a producer for Moneyline with Lou Dobbs. Mr. Sager brings his award-winning expertise in news and current affairs to production and placement for FBC Media Services, while continuing to serve as Executive Producer on many of FBC's long form Specials including The Players for Oracle and The Power of Flight for EADS.
Gino Trisolino
Chief Technology Officer
Gino has risen through the IT ranks of FBC to become CTO in late 2004. As CTO Gino is responsible for all activities associated with information technology (IT) services, network infrastructure, digital media and information security standards. Gino started his IT career in student computer services for John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. He has specialised in media sector for most of his IT career.
Francesca d'Andrea
Director of Marketing & Public Relations
One of the founding members of FBC, Francesca d'Andrea joined the company in 1998. She is responsible for the Group's integrated marketing & communications campaigns and has been instrumental in raising the company's profile through its various stages of development. She began her professional career at Time-Life Inc. in New York and worked as a Paris-based consultant for a range of TV programmes and broadcasters (incl. RAI).
Nick Carugati
Director of Global Advertising
Nick Carugati joined FBC in 2001 from the Pan-European Television channel, EuroNews, where he was Sales Director. He has worked in advertising and sponsorship sales for 18 years, starting off in the UK domestic market, with Anglia Television, before progressing into international media, where he led the ad sales on the launch of BBC World. At FBC, Nick manages the international advertising and sponsorship activity for FBC's portfolio of programmes.
