`til Death do Us Part

Kenneth Foster gained the world’s attention and respect for his 11 year battle against the Texas courts which sentenced him to death for a murder he did not commit. Two months before his scheduled execution date he further challenged fate by marrying Dutch hip-hop artist Tasha Narez, taking his vows by proxy from his death row cell.
On August 30, 2007, just hours before he was due to be executed Texas Governor Rick Perry, for the first time ever, commuted Kenneth’s sentence on humanitarian grounds.
From the Texas maximum security prison where he is now being held, Kenneth recounts his harrowing and inspirational life and near-death story.
