Eckart Sager
Executive Vice President / Head of Production
German-born, American educated, Eckart Sager joined FBC from CNN where he served as London-based Senior Producer of Business Unusual, the top-rated feature business profile show. Prior to his European posting, Mr. Sager produced numerous programmes for CNN in New York, including Pinnacle, spending three years travelling the world profiling leading CEO’s. He also worked as a producer for Moneyline with Lou Dobbs.
Mr. Sager brings his award-winning expertise in news, current affairs and feature programming to production and placement for FBC Media, while continuing to serve as Executive Producer on many of FBC’s long form specials, series and documentaries. He has been instrumental in building out FBC’s media tools and provides key strategic communications advice and support on behalf of FBC clients.
Graham Addicott
Head of Documentaries
Joined May 1 2008, A former Reporter and Presenter with ITV and Executive Producer and Producer/Director on a variety of programmes, documentaries and series for broadcasters such as the BBC, Discovery, Channel Four and Five, Graham ran his own independent production company for 20 years before joining FBC. Overseeing broadcast production as well as producing reports for ‘World Business’, working on BNFs and Producing/Directing documentaries and series.
Jon Lamberton
Series Producer, World Business
Jon has 10 years of experience in factual programming. He was a reporter/producer for scientific shows at Sky and TWI, before joining FBC 6 years ago and finally putting that economics study to good use. He won awards for his reporting on “World Business” including a CINE Golden Eagle, before taking over as series producer of Business of Sport and Tech Watch in 2005 and World Business in 2006.
Philippa Jackson
Head of Events and Operations
Philippa joined the company in March 2007 where she oversees operations from the London office, working closely with the business development and client management teams. Her background is in c-level event production, most recently running the European arm of BusinessWeek Events and previously with CNET Networks, the European Technology Forum and the Financial Times. Philippa has an English degree from Oxford University and spends any spare time she has working as a trustee for a sight-saving charity.
Daniel Tobin
Account Manager
Daniel joined FBC as An account manager in 2008 after spending a year at Sky Sport. He graduated from the University of Dundee with a masters in Politics, specializing in Russian/Asian history and Cold War relations. Daniel has a keen interest in Japanese culture and photography.
Manuela Mirkos
Assistant Producer
Manuela is a veteran of Italian and international journalism working for some the most respected media organisations. She was a correspondent and anchor for Vatican radio for the prime newscast of the Italian service. Notable interviews included: Prime Minister Romano Prodi, Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. She worked as press attaché for the Greek embassy in Rome for three years.
Manuela was a bureau associate for the NY times for a further two years, developing stories, conducting interviews and researching stories. Areas of coverage included: the Vatican, culture and the arts and Italian commerce. She was also a feature writer for three Italian publications: il foglio, avveniere and I'll diario della settimana.
She graduated from Rome la Sapienza university magna cum laude and earned a masters in journalism from Luiss university in Rome also magna cum laude.
Francesca D’Andrea
Senior Account Manager Italy
As a senior member of FBC, Francesca has worked in various capacities for the company. She is currently Senior Account Manager for FBC Media Services, managing strategic communications for Italian and international clients, from luxury brands to government agencies. With years of experience in media and public relations in the United States, France and Italy, she brings to her position extensive industry knowledge, multilingual skills and cultural sensitivity.
Emily Lightfoot
Account Manager
Emily has more than 10 years experience in account management and production across all media platforms. She joined FBC Media in July 2007, after 7 years in TV and digital media at MTV Networks UK & Ireland, and worked in print and radio prior to that. True to FBC’s international outlook, Emily is FBC’s resident Australian, has lived in London since 1997, lived in Sweden before that and now divides her time between London and Malaysia. With a degree in Politics and a post graduate diploma in Communications, Emily is now also studying for a professional qualification at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
Blaise Keen
Distribution and Media Buying
Blaise entered the production industry with a background in managing events. He joined FBC in digital content management and moved from there into distribution. He currently manages distribution from the London office. Blaise is strongly environmentally motivated and is pursuing a Bachelors degree in environmental science in his part-time.
Natasha Sweeney
Production Manager
Natasha is our Production Manager with some 10 years experience in costing, managing and producing factual programmes for a variety of broadcasters including the BBC, Discovery, Channel 4, channel FIVE and ITV.
Massimiliano Lanaro
Head of Italian Operation
Massimiliano is a certified public accountant and member of the auditors association. He has over 10 years experience as a fiscal and accounting manager. Massimiliano’s key role includes business planning and management for FBC Italy.
Patrizia Marin
Senior Account Manager
Patrizia Marin, journalist and professional accountant, with 15 years experience in political and institutional information and PR, is currently Senior Account Manager of FBC Media where she is responsible for strategic communications for Italian and foreign clients in Italy. She has been a collaborator for the Ministry for Equal Opportunities, Welfare Ministry, Economic Development Ministry, the Veneto Region, always as a consultant for communication, press offices in Italy and overseas, organization of events, conferences, seminars, etc. Very keen on boating and sailing, she has been looking after the PR and press offices of the Lega Navale Italiana (Italian Nautical Association), the Rome (Big Blue) and Venice Boat Shows, the Venice Port, and is director in charge of AQAAnews, a specialized news agency.
