FBC India
FBC India began it operations in October 2004 as a joint venture between the FBC Group and a group of local Indian partners with vast experience and brand equity in the Indian television and film world.
FBC India is chaired by Urmila Gupta, former head of News at Doordarshan.
The company is headquartered in Mumbai, has an office in Delhi, and is a stratcoms and television production house that offers a unique set of capabilities in strategic communications and television production, creating original formats, executing quality production and branded entertainment, with particular specialization in current affairs, business and reality entertainment production.
FBC India also offers brand-building solutions, creating original formats or localizing successful international formats that appeal to Indian broadcasters and viewers, while providing effective visibility for the sponsor brand. The first branded-content program ever to air on a satellite channel – Star One’s Lakme Fashion House was produced by FBC India, based on an original FBC format.
In addition, FBC India has also a Strategic Communications division, which specializes in designing and executing international communications strategies for government ministries and leading corporations, promoting their image and initiatives on a global level.
